The TANlock 3 is a mechatronic locking system for server cabinets with exchangeable authentication modules (TAMs).
The advantage of the TANlock 3 is that it can be installed system-independent. This means that neither server cabinets from specific manufacturers nor additional software are required, so that the integration is particularly easy. TANlock 3 can be easily integrated into already existing IT infrastructures.

The advantage of TANlock Zero is that it can be installed system-independent. Neither server cabinets from specific manufacturers nor additional software are required so that the integration is particularly easy.

TANlock includes a ready-to-use server cabinet lock with a mounting kit and a connection cable.
All you have to do is mount the TANlock on the server cabinet and put it into action. The TANlock is preconfigured according to customer specifications.

The TANlock is available in both anthracite and silver, depending on the module.

The TANlock 3 is powered via PoE (Power-over-Ethernet).
If a PoE port is already available in your server rack, simply connect the TANlock 3 to a PoE network port.
In case you do not have any PoE ports available, a PoE injector can be used as well.

The TANlock Zero, on the other hand, is powered by an external power source connected to the TANlock Zero through open cables (e.g. Controller:Unit, ENA or BNA).

Each TANlock is equipped with a USB-C interface.
Via the USB-C socket, it is possible to supply the TANlock 3 with power via a power bank or a laptop in the event of a power failure.

Alternatively, the TANlock 3, as well as TANlock Zero can be ordered with “Mechanical Override”.
In this case, the housing is extended and equipped with a DIN lock cylinder. Key opening is possible at any time, even without power supply.
Each key opening is logged.

(Emergency power opening is NOT available with the TANlock Zero remote module).

Each TANlock is by itself usable and ready for use right out of the box.
However, for reliable monitoring of your racks with the TANlock, we recommend the use of door contacts. These can be connected directly to the TANlock.

Furthermore, additional sensors can be connected to the TANlock via the CAN-Bus interface. The following are available: Temperature, humidity, vibration and smoke detection.
