The TANlock 3 is connected to a RJ45 plug (LAN cable). This cable is used for both the web-based communication and the power supply via PoE. Thanks to the modular design (TAM), the authentication method can also be subsequently adapted to more stringent security requirements in the company. Your IT rack is thus monitored securely and reliably.
The TANlock Zero is connected to two 6-pin connectors. The power supply, various signal inputs and outputs, and Wiegand data line (optional) are connected to this connector. With the help of this simple TANlock circuit and the use of the numerous modules for authentication (TAM), the TANlock Zero fulfills the wish for simple integration, communication and control. The parameters “Handle folded out”, “Turn handle twisted” and optionally “Door(s) open” are monitored.
Either two 25 mm x 50 mm cutouts or one 25 mm x 150 mm cutout are required. These standard cutouts are present in almost every control cabinet.
In case you use Rittal or Vertiv control cabinets, we also offer suitable adapters, which are sometimes required on these types of cabinets.
