FATH Mechatronics GmbH was founded in 2018 and was renamed TANlock in 2025.

The company develops, manufactures, and markets mechatronic products and successfully introduced the innovative TANlock locking system for server cabinets to the market in 2018. The intelligent access control system TANlock makes a valuable contribution to the security of critical IT infrastructure directly at the server cabinet. For its outstanding achievements in research and development, FATH Mechatronics GmbH has received multiple awards.

As an internationally operating company, FATH maintains its own production, logistics, and sales locations in Germany, the USA, China, Hungary, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Brazil, and the Netherlands. In selected countries, an international network of FATH distribution partners supports its global reach.
